dotShari Townsend was trained as a paralegal and found work at a company that has a large component of legal documents, cases and other material available in its database. But she has had to learn the work of a copyright coordinator by experience.

"A lot of the stuff that I do in my job now I learned by taking courses, reading books and networking with people who do the same sort of thing," she says.
