Viewers can access the entire library of web-based tour content using laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other similar internet-connected devices. In a classroom/group setting, we have found that sharing the screen of a single device using a projector or smartboard is an effective way to get an entire room engaged in the same experience. While a headset is not required, we recommend trying out the companion VR videos to be fully immersed in the scenes.

The HTC VIVE Focus 3, HTC VIVE Focus Plus, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3 are a few headsets that we currently recommend. Any headset that supports 4K or 6K video and can be loaded with external files (by cable or SD card) will work with our content. Another note to pay attention to while you're researching is to look for headsets that are not tethered, meaning they can be used independently without being tied to a computer or game console.
